I'm not sure how to start this one after 8 objectively eventful years, domestically, nationally, globally, and with respect to the site.

I'm home now, trying to pivot to something else after a very stressful enlistment which changed my personality and life a lot. Almost didn't make it back. Some of my friends didn't, some family didn't.

One of the things which gave me a lot of comfort back in the day was the duders here, and while many of them have moved on, they're all still just hanging out around the couch to me.

With the gang all spread out I tend to bounce between them when I get a wild hair and see a cool video premise, but it's necessarily less consistent in terms of consumption. Not to mention online habits changed with the years of service and the demanding, nearly all-consuming nature of that, and with how the Internet is, and with how my mindset has changed.

Someone said once that it's easier to remember after time's passed more of how people made you feel and less of what they did, and that's true in this case. Good times.

Regardless, I just wanted to express how much I appreciated the experience and thank everyone involved in keeping the site going through the times.

I hope you all take care of each other and do things which make you happy and at peace, wherever you are.

Love and hugs, Aidan.
