Forum search doesn't work

Can't seem to search keywords to look for topics. I know nobody cares about the forum, but is this a known issue?

@sombre: Ooooh that happened to me too. I hardly use the search function and I thought I was doing it wrong so I didn't think it was a bug.

In the meetings I have had with @dtoast the issues with forum search is a known issue and a high priority. No updates the last I hear, but this is not due to a lack of care or interest; the issue seems more complicated than initially assumed.
