Hey!

So about a month ago I could filter the releases list with the parameter "%filter=game:[GAME_ID]" and it would return only the releases for the specific game. Now when I try to do this it gives me 100 results (the maximum) with the first one being always random.

Is this a bug? Is the filtering not supported anymore? Nothing changed in this regard on the resources page.

Would be great if this could be fixed or if it's supposed to be this way, another way to get the same results as before would be great.

Thank you!

I'll take a look. That is definitely a bug.

Sorry, I forgot to provide an example:

GameBoy Advance release for F-ZERO for Game Boy Advance returns 100 releases out of 1596

https://www.giantbomb.com/api/releases/?api_key=...&filter=game:46&platforms=4&sort=release_date:asc

It would really help to have this solved, due to the quirky way the game search works (I first have to search a game by name/aliases for a specific platform, then find its releases (for that platform) to retrieve the correct one. Another (even better) option would be that the game endpoint includes the platform field in the release branches...

Thanks!

This new info should help @dtoast when they file the ticket on this issue.
