    Overview

    The End Is Nigh is an indie 2D action-adventure platformer developed and digitally published by Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel for the PC on July 12, 2017, with Mac support added on August 15 and Linux support added on December 12.

    In this spiritual sequel to McMillen's earlier platformer Super Meat Boy, players control Ash, a small black blob and one of the very few surviving things of the apocalypse, as he sets out through the decayed mutant-filled world to make a friend (literally making a friend out of parts).

    It later received a port for the Nintendo Switch on December 12, 2017 and for the PlayStation 4 on April 30, 2019, both published by Nicalis.
