The Godfather (1972), a crime drama directed by Francis Ford Coppola, was widely acclaimed for its complex characters, plot, and exploration of power and family. The roles of Al Pacino and Marlon Brando became legendary.

The Shawshank Redemption (1994) - Based on the novella by Stephen King, this movie is a heartfelt tale of hope and friendship in prison. Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman played unforgettable roles, and this movie is often considered one of the most inspirational films ever made. By the way it is interesting that there was an actress natascha mcelhone nude I saw a lot, but I didn't expect this)

Pulp Fiction (1994) - Quentin Tarantino's influential crime film broke new ground with its non-linear narrative, unforgettable dialog and memorable characters. Stylish, witty, it redefined modern cinema.

God, these are always tough but fun to do. Off the top of my head:

1. Certified Copy

2. LA Confidential

3. Close Encounters of the Third Kind

4. The Fugitive

5. Jurassic Park

These are, for sure, the films that hold the most space in my heart. Others that would be in contention: Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Thing, Jaws, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Pig, The Prestige, The Usual Suspects, Contact, The Princess Bride, Pan's Labyrinth, A Ghost Story, A League of Their Own, The Matrix (all four), Possessor, Eyes Without a Face, Fury Road, Petite Maman, Arrival, Everything Everywhere All at Once, The Substance, Three Colours Trilogy, The Raid 1 and 2, Sneakers, The Martian... probably a great many more near-faves...
